Love vs Fear

It has been said by a very spiritual person that there are only two emotions: Love and Fear.
If you are feeling a good emotion such as happiness, joy, excitement,lust, ect. you are coming from love :heart: . But if you are feeing depressed, upset, alone, miserable,ect. You are coming from fear :depressed:. Those are the two main emotions and everything else stems off from those two. If you are feeling depressed and you just want the feeling to go away, then think about the things that make you happy or do what makes you happy. Then you will be coming from love.
I have tried this before and it has worked for me. So which would you rather come from? Love? or Fear?
